In October 2009, Pfizer and Wyeth merged (Wyeth being a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pfizer). The combined company now offers an even richer product portfolio, including Caltrate, Centrum, Advil, and Vicks, covering a broader and more promising range of therapeutic areas. Both its R&D capabilities and innovative strength have reached a leading position in the industry. Wyeth Pharmaceuticals has extremely sophisticated and stringent specifications and requirements for its production water. Initially, its water treatment equipment—specifically ozone generators—relied on products from Swiss company Neonya. Recently, following a technical upgrade at the company, its technical staff conducted an on-site inspection of Guangyuan Instrument Factory in Jinhua City and subsequently selected the Guangyuan-brand PEM low-pressure electrolytic ozone generator to replace the original Swiss Neonya units.

The third-generation ozone generation technology—PEM low-pressure electrolysis—is today’s advanced, health-friendly ozone production technology. Its core electrode is non-consumable, resulting in exceptionally low operating costs, excellent safety performance, and minimal requirements for the working environment. The introduction of this technology has broadened the application scope of ozone products, making it a truly low-carbon, environmentally friendly, energy-efficient, green, and health-conscious product.
