The product’s key feature is the use of a novel PEM membrane to electrolyze deionized water via solid-state membrane electrodes operating under low-voltage DC conditions. At the special anode solution interface, water is separated into hydrogen and oxygen molecules through proton exchange. Hydrogen is directly released from the cathode solution interface, while oxygen molecules, upon being excited by electrons generated by the high-density current at the anode interface, gain energy and subsequently combine to form ozone molecules.
